What is the maximum occupancy for Queen's manor Event CENTRE?

  • The Manor: 1,100

 What does each of the individual rooms feature?

  • The Manor: Approx 1,233 square feet of creative space and 3 bars + 6 Large screens.

  • Duchess: Approx 3983 square feet of creative space and two large screens.

  • Queen: Approx 5311 square feet of creative space and two large screens + a large bar.

  • Princess: Approx 3983 square feet of creative space, two large screens and one wall window.

  • Lobby + Large open space with 2 bars before entering into the venue.

Are 24-hour rentals and multi-day rentals options available?

Yes, please speak with your Queen’s Manor representative. We have special rates available for a 24-hour rental period and discounted multi-day rental options. Subject to availability.

Can there be an overnight setup?

Queen’s Manor is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Overnight event setup or breakdown is possible for an additional cost.

Can Queen’s Manor accommodate more than one event at the same time?  

Queen’s Manor's venue is designed to be flexible and versatile and may host multiple events in one day or more than one event simultaneously. If you would like to guarantee exclusive private access to the venue, let us know, and we can make it happen!

Can I do my wedding ceremony and reception at Queen’s Manor?

Absolutely! With such a versatile and ample space, you can plan to celebrate both your wedding ceremony and reception at Queen’s Manor.

Do you have an onsite bridal suite?

Yes! We have a newly furnished bridal suite with floor-to-ceiling mirrors, a beautiful lounge area, and ample seating for your bridesmaids and family.

Can we visit Queen’s Manor before our event?

Yes! Fill out the inquiry form on our Contact page, and a Queen’s Manor Team Member will reach out within 24-48 hours.

What’s included

Are there any rental items included in our contract?

In addition to tables and chairs, Queen’s Manor can provide linens, custom-built bars, additional tables, podiums, and more. Don't hesitate to get in touch with your Queen’s Manor representative for more details.

Are presentation screens available?

Queen’s Manor has multiple large flat screens throughout the venue. Additionally, we would be happy to provide any additional AV rental solutions.

Is there free parking available?

Yes, parking is available at no extra cost.  

Is Valet service available?

Yes, valet service is available upon request for an additional fee. Please inquire with your Queen’s Manor representative for more details.

Am I responsible for event cleanup?

Standard cleaning services are included in the Queen’s Manor venue rental fee for the client. Vendors, however, are responsible for the removal of their setup and any trash.

What is Queen’s Manor's policy on open flames?

Torches, sparklers, and fireworks of any kind are not permitted. Under certain circumstances, indoor fireworks and candles may be allowed with advanced approval. Approved caterers are allowed specific outdoor grilling options with advanced notice.

What is the policy for alcohol onsite?

Queen’s Manor is a fully licensed venue. 

All alcohol packages must be provided by Queen’s Manor and served by our exclusive bartenders. Due to license restrictions, no outside alcohol may be served or consumed on-premises.

What is the smoking policy?

Smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted anywhere on the active premises of the building.

securing your date

CAN I PLACE A "SOFT HOLD" ON MY EVENT DATE?

Yes, as a courtesy, Queen’s Manor offers the option to place a FREE "soft hold" on your event date for up to 7 days. 

A "soft hold" does not guarantee that your date is reserved, but it lets other parties know that your event is the first in line to reserve the date.

Suppose another party makes an offer to reserve the exact event date. In that case, you will be provided up to 24 hours' notice to pay a Venue Rental Fee (20% non-refundable deposit) and to sign Queen’s Manor Venue Rental Agreement to reserve the space formally. If we do not hear back from you, we will release the hold.

Vendor policies + Regulations

Do we have to use the Queen’s Manor vendor list:

Queen’s Manor has carefully curated a Preferred Vendor list with some of the best vendors in the GTA. Each of these vendors is familiar with the space and has been trained on Queen’s Manor rules, regulations and safety procedures. They are here to make your Queen’s Manor event experience seamless. 

If you want to bring in an "Outside Vendor," the vendor must meet specific insurance and operating qualifications. 

Is there a kitchen available for my caterer?

Yes, we have a large state-of-the-art kitchen available onsite. Please speak to your Queen’s Manor representative for specific kitchen needs.

Is there a cake-cutting fee?

Queen’s Manor offers a cake cutting service for no additional fee and is served along with the dessert.

Are tables, linens, chairs, bars or glassware provided?

Tables, chairs, linens, cutlery and glassware are included in your venue rental fee. 

Can we have live music, and how late can the music play?

Yes, a D.J. or live music for events can be played at the venue. Queen’s Manor needs to be notified ahead of time for any accommodations to set up. No amplified music after 2:00 am.

Can I attach things to the wall?

All temporary signage or posters must be freestanding and are subject to prior approval and placement by Queen’s Manor. The use of tape, wires, tacks, nails and glue to hang decorations is prohibited.

Can my vendor hang things from the ceiling?

Yes! However, safety is the number one priority, and all hanging and rigging plans will need to be approved in advance by Queen’s Manor and installed by an event professional.

Can we use confetti, glitter, bubbles or fog machines?

In general, the use of these items is prohibited. However, under certain circumstances and with advance notice, Queen’s Manor may approve the use of these items.

Are there presentation screens available?

There are six large flatscreen monitors throughout the venue and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.

Do you have an in-house sound system and microphones for speeches?

We do have an in-house AV rental solution operated by Empire entertainment. Please contact Empire entertainment at info@empireentertainment.ca for any AV rental needs.

Does Queen’s Manor have FREE WIFI?

Yes, we have complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi internet for all guests onsite at the Queen’s Manor venue.

MISCELLANEOUS

Is a licensed security guard or security company required?

Generally, security is complimentary with your event. Depending upon the nature of the event, additional security might be required by the client.

Is Queen’s Manor CLIMATE CONTROLLED?

Queen’s Manor is equipped with a brand new, tranquil, high-powered HVAC system.

Is Queen’s Manor WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Yes, all the rooms at Queen’s Manor are wheelchair accessible with the exception of the Bridal suites.
